On 30th Nov.2024, within the framework of the Ministry's strategy for CSR, Eng. Karim Badawi , Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, Major General Moheb Habashi Khalil, Governor of Port Said and Michele Quaroni , the Italian Ambassador to Egypt, witnessed the graduation ceremony of the first batch of graduates from Zohr Applied Technology School in Port Said and honoring the distinct graduates, which is one of the most significant initiatives launched by the Petroleum Sector and its partners in Zohr gas field.
This came with the participation of leaders of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, members of the House of Representatives and the Senate, and the initiative's partners, Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) , Eni Energies et Services , Elsewedy Technical Academy - STA affiliated to ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC Foundation, and PETROBEL.
During his Speech, Eng. Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, asserted that the initiative of establishing Zohr Applied Technology School represents an important step into investing in preparing human cadres to be pillars in development and energy industry, in addition to being one of the distinct results of the integrated work with the Ministry of Education and Eni, the strategic partner of the Petroleum Sector and ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC Foundation.
The Minister asserted his gratitude to the initiative's partners for the success of their collaborative efforts.
Addressing the graduates, he highlighted the significant responsibility they now carry on and expressed confidence in their potential to drive future success. He affirmed his full trust that they will emerge as future leaders, thanking both the graduates and their families for their dedication and support, highlighting the importance of health and safety.
