On 25th September 2025, Eng. Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, attended three panel discussions held during the Annual HSE Day . The first panel entitled“HSE Comptency snd Capacity Building: Investing in Our People”,
participants asserted that applying HSE standards in the petroleum sector is essential to safeguard lives and reduce accidents and injuries.

The second panel entitled“Road Safety: The Strategic Road Safety Action Plan”, participants highlighted the significance of integrating efforts to establish a comprehensive road safety system, from drivers, vehicles, and weather conditions, as well as the design and quality of roads.

The third panel entitled “Safeguarding Our Lifeline: A Collaborative Effort to Address Petroleum Pipelines’ Challenges” reviewed the significance of cooperation and coordination between specialized companies and Egypt’s entities, represented by local authorities and governorates , to secure the national network for transporting petroleum products and natural gas, for ensuring public safety.
