On 3rd November 2025, Eng. Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, inspected the ministry's pavilion participating in the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) during the exhibition's inauguration which was attended by Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, and featured the participation of 2250 international companies specializing in petroleum, natural gas, upstream, refining, renewable energy, artificial intelligence, and information technology.
During his inspection, the Minister emphasized that Egypt's participation in ADIPEC this year is of significant value due to the ministry's direction towards enhancing effective presence in global energy gatherings and promoting available investment opportunities in the Egyptian market to major international companies. He pointed out that the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources pavilion reflects the comprehensive image of the significant development witnessed by the Egyptian petroleum sector, through leading national companies, with ENPPI and Petrojet being at the forefront, as they are implementing major projects, both domestically and abroad with the highest global standards of quality and efficiency. He affirmed that participation in this global event represents an important opportunity to showcase the distinguished engineering and technical capabilities of these companies globally and to enhance cooperation with international partners.
Eng. Karim Badawi also inspected the pavilions of ExxonMobil and SLB, during his tour of ADIPEC. Where he met with officials from the two companies, who in turn introduced the latest global technologies they offer in the fields of exploration, technical and technological solutions, and drilling.
It is noteworthy that participating in the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources pavilion this year are the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC), the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS), the Egyptian Petrochemicals Holding Company (ECHEM), the South Valley Egyptian Petroleum Holding Company (GANOPE) , the Egyptian Mineral Resources Authority (MRMIA), Engineering for the Petroleum & Process Industries (ENPPI), Petroleum Projects and Technical Consultations Company (Petrojet), Egypt Upstream Gateway (EUG), General Petroleum Company (GPC), Egyptian Drilling Company (EDC), Modern Gas Company, EPROM, EMC, Petroleum Marine Services Company (PMS), Petroleum Services Company (PAS), and Misr Gas Company.
