During his official visit to Abu Dhabi, Eng. Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, visited ENPPI's project site in Habshan, where he met with the Egyptian teams executing one of the largest energy projects in the UAE. The meeting was attended by Eng. Salah Abdel Karim, CEO of EGPC; Eng. Khaled Ibrahim, Chairman of ENPPI; and Eng. Walid Lotfy, Chairman of Petrojet.

The Minister reviewed the progress of the project and met with Petrojet's Egyptian project team. He was briefed on the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) activities being carried out by the company for the WAVE C3A project on behalf of the ADNOC–TAQA (Marafeq) consortium. The project is designed to transport and pump treated seawater into wells in the Bab and Bu Hasa fields as part of the infrastructure projects supporting enhanced oil production efficiency.

The Minister asserted that Petrojet's participation in executing this strategic project reflects the robust confidence that Egyptian Petroleum Sector companies have earned in regional markets. It also highlights their extensive expertise, technical capabilities, and execution excellence, enabling them to compete effectively for major projects beyond Egypt. He commended the outstanding performance of Petrojet's workforce, describing them as a distinguished example of Egyptian expertise and professionalism, committed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and discipline in project execution.
