On the sidelines of Egypt Energy Show "EGYPES 2026," Eng. Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Mr. Gohar Nabil, Minister of Youth and Sports, held a roundtable themed: "Future Energy Leaders:

Empowering Youth and Young Professionals to Shape Egypt's Energy Sector." The roundtable was also attended by Dr. Ayman Bahaa El-Din, Deputy Minister of Education and Technical Education, on behalf of Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, alongside a group of young professionals from Egyptian and international companies operating in the energy, oil, and gas sectors across various disciplines.

The roundtable, moderated by Eng. Abeer El-Sherbiny, Acting Head of the Central Department of the Technical Office at the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, featured a distinguished interactive dialogue between the ministers and the youth, with the objective of listening to the visions and proposals of young professionals and identifying the key challenges facing their capacity building and qualification for future leadership in the energy sector, while also supporting innovation and modernization within this vital industry.
