Dedicated departments and organizational structures for energy efficiency have been established at all levels of the sector. The Ministry Energy Efficiency and Climate Department supervises all activities and projects related to optimization of energy consumption in the petroleum sector and cooperation programs in the field of energy efficiency with international institutions and bodies, as well as supervising the annual conference and exhibition for energy efficiency, and is responsible for suggesting and implementing energy efficiency policies and strategies in the petroleum sector in cooperation and coordination with the energy efficiency departments of the EGPC authority and holding companies.
