Depending on a new economic vision, the Petroleum Sector has managed to successfully implement great petroleum projects. Such projects have provided the sector with new dimensions to proceed globally as well as to make decisions related to the future of energy all over the world..

The outcome of the recent years represents great confidence in the Egyptian economy, in general, and the petroleum sector, in particular. Moreover, it affirms the fact that the strategy of the Petroleum Ministry, adopted at the beginning of the year 2000, has been realistically implemented surpassing the expected targets. It has also proved the potential of those working in the Egyptian Petroleum Sector for achieving hopes and ambitions that were previously considered unattainable. We have great hopes to proceed with the development of the petroleum, natural gas, and petrochemical industries. More hopes relate to the development of Upper Egypt as well as the utmost use of our petroleum and mineral wealth. We promise to exert more effort, which symbolizes our sense of belonging to Egypt under the leadership of President Hosni Mubarak.
